1. Understand all the features of a professional DV Camera.
2. Learn how to use different types of microphones and understand how to select the right one for each situation.
3. Record professional pictures and sound; understand the various digital connections and learn how to download to a computer for editing.
4. Understand basic lighting for DV.
5. Learn how to compose well framed shots.
6. Be aware of health and safety risks when recording.
7. Understand shot sequencing and its importance in the post production process. |

This course is targeted at industry professionals, including Producers,
Researchers and Directors. It is also appropriate for anyone who needs to understand how to make more effective use of DV Cameras.

The course is non-technical and will enable delegates to learn how to shoot professional footage using DV cameras, as well as gaining a greater understanding of the techniques used in digital production for broadcast and web streaming.

The day include a variety of practical exercises. The presentation is informal and the content can be varied to meet individual needs.
