| Make-a-80-minute-feature-film-training |
Are you Looking to make a feature film, but do not have the budget available. London Academy is looking for fifteen people to join a professional film production unit.
Gain valuable insight to the film industry by on the job training. You will understand the pressures of shooting quickly and efficiently and the disciplines required in actual film production. You will have a hands-on, practical knowledge base across the principal production roles and will be in an excellent position to launch into your own future productions. Everyone will be a veteran of at least one professional shoot with a credit to his or her name.
|
The film production trainees will be limited to a maximum of 15 participants and is ideally suited to past students with relevant diplomas or those with some knowledge or experience of the low budget film world. It will be most suitable for those with an interest in the following roles: Production Management, Producer, DOP, Editor, Sound
Recordist, Script Writer, Director.
Once the final film is edited, it will then be offered to the world market, as any other feature and all profits will be split equally amongst all participants, crew, cast, tutors and writer.
|
|
Supported by the London School of Performing Arts and by LARFT, this is the ideal stepping-stone to get you noticed. You are invited to participate on a full-scale feature film (HD) production filmed on location in Wales.
Scripts will ideally be genre specific -horror/thriller for instance - and will be simple to shoot in terms of logistics/locations. The feature film will be shot in Pembrokeshire, South Wales, using the local landscape as a backdrop to the, as yet undecided, story.
|

All HD production costs are included and participants cover their own travel and lodging expenses, though all meals will be supplied during the ten-day shoot.
All participants are first expected to attend in London for 28 days to learn the filmmaking process and to help establish the story and to be given roles within the film unit. The cost to each participant is ?4,000, making the total budget for the film ?60k. Many successful films have been made on such a budget.
You can join the film production unit Trainee scheme in advance by enrolling online or by emailing the Film Production Unit. There are only two film productions per year. The first production starts on May 5th and the second on September 5th of each year.
